Out of respect for our foster’s time and privacy we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. We have one form that is printable and one that is an on-line form. You will find them at the bottom of this page. Our agency is run by volunteers. We will get back to you as quickly as we can. We do not have a shelter location; all of our dogs are in foster homes. All dogs are fully vaccinated and fixed before adoption.

The 3-3-3 rule is a set of guidelines for the first three days, tree weeks, and three months after adopting a new dog. The goal of the 3-3-3 rule is to help the dog adjust to their new environment and build a strong foundation for a long and happy life with their new family.
Pyrenees mix ready for pre-adoption!
My name is Stump, I was born Feb 5 so I am almost 9 months old . I am fully vetted and neutered. I am purebred German Shepherd, papered but my original owner couldn’t find them. I love the water, specifically ponds. I love to play preferably with another energetic dog. I love to be outside and roam and to cuddle up inside when it’s nap time. I have been around other dogs and cats but I don’t like big crowds or just not used to them. I am housebroken but don’t like to be left alone inside. I am loyal and looking for my new favorite person who will roam with me outside and explore or hike and of course watch me take a swim. If interested please apply here, a home visit will be required. https://graingercountyhumanesociety.org/pet-adoption-form-1 Adoption fee is $200
